Welcome to the YA Scavenger Hunt! On this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each participating YA author, you also get a secret number. Add up the numbers, and enter it for a chance to win a major prize–one lucky winner will receive at least one signed book from each author on my team in the hunt! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online until noon PST on Sunday, April 3!

You can start right here or you can also go to the YA Scavenger Hunt homepage to find out all about the hunt. There are NINE contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or both! I am a part of the RED TEAM–but there is also a blue, purple, pink, gold, orange, green, silver, and teal team and if you do those hunts you’ll have a chance to win a whole different set of signed books!

Red Team (2)

If you’d like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, see the full list of prizes up for grabs, or if you get lost along the way, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt homepage.

Looking for my exclusive bonus content? You’ll have to keep searching. Somewhere on this blog hop, I’ve hidden a video containing the first sneak peak at Violet Grenade. Before you go on though, check out the amazing author I’m hosting. But, first, a few rules.

Victoria Scott

Directions: Below, you’ll notice that I’ve listed my favorite number. Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the red team, and then add them up. Hint: the secret number is highlighted in RED

Entry Form: Once you’ve added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.

Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian’s permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by April 3, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

Now that all the technical stuff is out of the way, I’ll introduce the author I am hosting on this hunt.

I am super excited to be hosting…

YASH Spring 2016

EVERLY FROST wrote her first story when she was nine. She grew up in a country town, lived for a little while in Japan, and worked for several years in Canberra, Australia’s capital city. Now, Everly lives in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband and two children.

The book she’s showing on the fall hunt is…

Dude, isn’t this cover fierce?! Here’s what it’s about:

The future is bright for 16-year-old Ava Holland and the residents of Evereach. They don’t have to worry about old age or even getting sick. In their world, humans regenerate, heal, and live for hundreds of years. Mortality isn’t something to fear. Disease has been all but eradicated. Everything changes when Ava watches her brother die and he doesn’t regenerate. Ava’s genetics are called into question by the government, scientists, extremists, and Ava herself. Could her genes hold the answer to mortality? Is she an anomaly or something to be feared? Determined not to become anyone’s guinea pig, Ava doesn’t stick around to find out. She wants answers too, but the only person who can help her is 17-year-old Michael Bradley, the boy who killed her brother. If either of them have even the slightest chance of survival, they must find the genetic keys hidden in Ava’s DNA before it’s too late.

Find out more information by checking out the author’s website, or you can buy her book here!

And now for the exclusive content!

A Pinterest board for the book. Yes, please!

Follow the FEAR MY MORTALITY Inspiration Board on Pinterest.

This is my inspiration board for FEAR MY MORTALITY, with images that inspired scenes and characters in the book. The cityscape represents Dell City where most of the story takes place, with drones an everyday presence there. Ava Holland loves to dance—she’s most comfortable in ballet shoes—and the black dress is her Implosion dress. The scorpion, rose, and trees appear in scenes that alter the course of her life. Along with the boy who changes everything on the night of Implosion. – Everly

How cool are those pics? Love, love all the black and white images, and those splashes of red. I want to steal these images 8 times over again.

Thank you so much for visiting my site! While you’re here, don’t forget to enter the bonus contest I am running exclusively during the YA Scavenger Hunt. I’m giving away a signed galley of TITANS and a signed poster, so enter below!
