So, I just returned from MoCo Book Festival, and you guys, it was a blast. Friday night, I had some cocktails with Andrew Smith and Lindsay Cummings at the hotel. We talked about their way of life living in the Middle of Nowhere (creepy), compared to my life in the city (which they thought was creepier). The next day I spoke on panels with A.G. Howard, author of the Splintered series, who is a complete doll, and then signed copies of Salt & Stone for the very first time.
Tomorrow I leave for Houston, where I’ll be celebrating the release of Salt & Stone with Sophie Jordan and some of you fine folks. We’ll be at Murder by the Book at 6:30 pm (2/24) and will be doing reading, taking questions, and just generally being authorly.
Finally, when I return from Houston, I’ll be joining three other Scholastic gals in a Twitter chat on 2/25 (that’s Wednesday, y’all). Be sure and join in with #BookBday to ask questions and win our releases. You can also help promote the chat by sharing the image in this blog. Woot!
That’s it, folks. One. More. Day! Just think, tomorrow morning you can drive to the store and get your hands on Pandoras and Guy Chambers and death and cruel twists and…and…oh, sorry. I mean, all the nice things will happen in this book. Absolutely nothing bad.
You can totally trust me.
