I’m having a mild panic attack, but don’t worry, I’m enjoying it immensely. Why? Because my panic is more in the way of awesome, and less in the way of terribleness. You see, my short story, FOUR HOUSES, which I popped up on Amazon about five months ago…is growing little angel wings. I’d like to coddle and kiss FOUR HOUSES, and perhaps give her one of those blue ribbons to hang on her homemade cover, because she….*drum roll*

…hit Amazon’s Top 100 Short Story list. Bomb.

Okay, so I don’t really know what that means, but I’m proud of her nonetheless. The story came to me in a restaurant restroom (true story), and since publication, it has taken on a life of its own. I heard the other day that it’s even apartment shopping in the city. It’s cool. I knew eventually she might grow up and leave home, but I guess I never expected her to stop calling. Completely.

Any who, FOUR HOUSES hit a neat little list, and is also trending in the top 2% of all e-books sold on Amazon. Pretty wicked cool for a short story. A huge thank you to everyone who bought a copy, helped promote, or just refrained from laughing when I said I was going to write a shortie. I heart you so much.

If you want to buy a copy of FOUR HOUSES, you can find it now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or even as a PDF to read on your computer.
