THE COLLECTOR is almost here. So close. 6 days. 5 nights. And then it’s time. I’ve heard that many people have already received their copies, and that some are still waiting. From what I understand, the book is available on Kindle, Nook, and print copies ordered online are trickling in. What isn’t out? I believe iBooks won’t release until April 2nd and I think some of the preordered eBooks won’t download onto Kindle and Nooks until next Tuesday, either. Also, bookstores and Walmart will probably not receive their copies until next week.
To say it’s wild to see the first reviews (based on the finished book) roll in is an understatement. I’ve waiting years for this moment, and here it is. Howdy. Hello. I’m your book. I’m thrilled with the feedback I’ve seen so far. Readers who love the book keep me motivated to keep writing, and even the reviewers that didn’t adore it told me what I could do better. Also, on Amazon the book is ranked higher than I ever would have imagined possible, and that’s without all the presales pushing through. I feel…no, I’m SURE…Dante would be very proud that his story has been so well-received.
6 more days. And then we celebrate, people. We dance and we laugh and we eat icing off our fingertips. Dante Walker is being unwrapped, site by site, reader by reader, and soon he’ll be totally revealed, red bow on that sweet little toosh. Pow!
In the meantime, here are some pics from my first bookstore sighting! I heart you guys!! Thanks for making this moment so wonderful!
