Let me start by saying this book is not funny. Funny makes your laugh like a normal human being. No. This book is HILARIOUS. It’s the kind of funny that makes you laugh so hard that nearby people give you concerned looks and you can totally understand why.
I’m ashamed to admit I almost stopped reading this book around page 50. It’s not my usual cup-o-tea. But thank the heavenly angels I kept reading because man, oh, man was it great. This is one of those books that makes you want to spurt cliches like, “I kept thinking about it long after it was over.” I loved how the two Will Graysons eventually crossed paths. And needless to say, I’ll spend the rest of my life searching for a real-life Tiny Cooper. The only thing that bothered me was the frequent notes of depression, but I’ll admit it added depth to the story. Overall, this was a hilarious and thought-provoking book and I’m sure-as-heck glad I gave it a go.
